The UR part is the name is a German augmentative, used in the case of the Quattro to mean `original`.The Audi Quattro is an icon of Eighties motoring. Launched at the Geneva Motor Show in 1980, the Audi Quattro marked the beginning of an era of turbocharged, four-wheel drive road cars and changed the face of rallying overnight. Until the advent of the Audi Quattro many doubted the viability of all-wheel drive racers, thinking them to be too heavy and complex. The Quattro was an instant success, winning a rally on its first outing. It won competition after competition for the next two years.This is a 1984 model which includes the model revisions of that year, including the tinted rear lights and colour coded rear spoiler and front spoiler.The digital dash and voice synthesiser still work in this car. 200 BHP ensures that this car still has the ability to embarass modern day `sports coupes`.
