| Description |
| Prior to Ayrton Senna`s tragic death in 1994 at Imola, Ayrton Senna had approved the use of his name on a special version on the Ducati 916. The Senna 916 series bikes were manufactured in three production batches between 1995 and 1998. A maximum of 1000 Sennas were produced in total through the three Senna models ( Senna I, Senna II and Senna III).This is an immaculate example of a Senna III with its dark metallic grey paintwork which is almost black, contrasting beautifully with the brick red three spoke wheels and bronze frame. All Senna series bikes had a carbon fibre front mudguard, carbon fibre clutch cover and chainguard, Ohlins racing type rear shock and fully floating cast iron discs. This bike has Termigoni exhausts fitted and the original exhausts are supplied with the bike. This is headstock number 251 from the final batch of Senna Production. | |
